The brainchild of two good friends - the doctor and the winemaker. The mission; to make a structural and stylistically driven wine from the very best parcels of fruit and highest quality oak. The classic Australian varieties Cabernet and Shiraz from The Good Doctor’s Paeroa vineyard are blended with McLaren Vale Tannat giving incredible length, structure and cellaring legs. Harking back to the old school and the antithesis of 'drink now' wine, The Good Doctor’s Tonic is something to admire in its’ youth and truly indulge in with the fullness of time.

The inky colour hints to the intensity to come...lifted aromatics of dark fruit backed by smoky cedar and spicy oak, the palate offering sophisticated tannins carrying complex fruit flavours over the entire palate. Tannat and Cabernet bring structure, aromatics and texture, Shiraz adding depth and generous layers of lush fruit and spice.
